LEVEL IT: WOMEN’S ART HANDLING NETWORK

Co-founded by Jes Gettler & Alexa Anderson, Level It: Women’s Art Handling Network (2017-2020) was a nonprofit organization comprised of women-identified art handlers, museum preparators, and specialty fabricators. Level It worked to provide a foundation for women in the industry to gain experience, confidence, recognition, and an expanded professional network through a series of classes, hands-on workshops, and social events.

Level It presented at the PACCIN International Art Handlers Conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands, 2019
Hosted a long-form 2-day intensive workshop with guest speakers & instructors at the Museum of Contemporary Art
Awarded a 4Culture T.I.P.S. Grant
