Jes Gettler is the owner/operator of Blue Hammer Exhibits llc and brings over 20 years of experience working in Contemporary Art Museums, Artist Studios, and the Private Sector.
Her roles as Exhibition Designer, Lead Preparator, Senior Project Manager, and Production Supervisor provide a broad perspective and practical expertise on exhibition development & implementation, fine art handling, and production management.

LEVEL IT: WOMEN’S ART HANDLING NETWORK
Co-founded by Jes Gettler & Alexa Anderson, Level It: Women’s Art Handling Network (2017-2020) was a nonprofit organization comprised of women-identified art handlers, museum preparators, and specialty fabricators. Level It worked to provide a foundation for women in the industry to gain experience, confidence, recognition, and an expanded professional network through a series of classes, hands-on workshops, and social events.
Level It presented at the PACCIN International Art Handlers Conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands, 2019
Hosted a long-form 2-day intensive workshop with guest speakers & instructors at SMoCA, Scottsdale, AZ
Awarded a 4Culture T.I.P.S. Grant, 2019
